Norm, I have eye snaps at both ends of my boom vang, to allow for quick rigging and unrigging. I put shackles in the unused holes on the sidestay chain plates. For my boom preventer, I unsnap the bottom of my vang from the mast and snap it to my chain plate shackle. Sincerely, John Bella (628)
