Bob A few years back I had my M-17 hoisted onto a new trailer.......They used 2 slings about 1/3 of the way in from the bow and the stern........seemed to balance out just fine........They did use a spreadder bar to keep the slings vertical and not compress the sides as you might if only using a clevis directly overhead.
