Re: M_Boats: Anchor storage forward on M15
I've taken the Styrofoam out of the forward V-berth locker to install a transducer for a fish finder/depth finder - http://www.msogphotosite.com/M15Sndr.html . I thought about using the empty compartment for other storage such as an anchor. Since I sail off the Southern California coast to Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands, I opted to feel more secure with the positive flotation. I solved part of the storage and forward weight for the anchor by securing my 11# claw anchor to a bow roller. This modification is located at: http://www.msogphotosite.com/MSOG/pdfpage/m15bowroller.pdf. I will be putting my 1981 M15 #172 up for sale next month. If anyone is interested, contact me off list. How much will you be asking for your M-15? It looks like a well cared for boat. Thank you.
