I too like the look and functionality of opening ports, but were not included on M-15s of the vintage of mine (#335), so I bought an opening port and had it installed on the front of the M-15 cabin. Helps the ventilations of the cabin a bunch. Check the photo. I like the classic green from light corrosion, but I'm sure there are numerous products that will restore the original bronze color with ample elbow grease. For the glass, I imagine Windex would suffice. Incidentally, I love the look and functionality of opening ports, and would not have purchased the boat without them.
