Hi Bobbie, Replace the polypropylene line with a flat Dacron winch tow strap. It's stronger; spools up evenly; and is a superior product. They should be available at almost any automobile parts store, since they are a standard item. For reference on trailer equipment and supplies get a "NORTHERN Tool & Equipment Co." Catalog. Call them at 1-800-533-5545 to get on their mailing list. NORTHERN also has nice ratchet tie down straps. I use a winch tow strap at the bow; one ratchet strap from trailer frame over the bow near the front of the cabin and back to the trailer frame. A second ratchet strap goes across the cockpit. That holds the hull very nicely on the trailer. Connie
