There's a couple photos on the MSOG photo site which demonstrates the benefit of having a 1' longer tiller on the M15. Go to M15 photos and click on Really. A couple of the pictures show the skipper sailing to weather using a forespar tiller extension on a custom made tiller by Royce which is 1' foot longer than the stock tiller.
