My garage is two hairs longer than the M15 mast ! I had to even cut into the sheetrock for the masthead to nest, and for the base of the mast to clear the garage door! I just love the fact the boat fits in the garage. The mast may have to go in separately, on a diagonal. You'll need about 7' of vertical clearance at the door. I have kept mine in a couple of old garages, maybe 16 or 17', but my Dilly trailer had a removable tongue. It was a pain to remove and install, but do-able. Hi Jerry, I measured my garage at 18' 8" with a head clearance of 81". I have a 2 car garage with a single door. My M-15 is outfitted with a bow pulpit and adjustable motor mount. With the mount fully retracted and the jack fully lowered I am able to push the boat into the garage, just clearing the garage door opening. To be able to close the garage, I had to cut off 30" of the tongue of the trailer and retro fit it with a removeable extention. Otherwise, the trailer would have to be stored on an angle, taking up both parking spaces. I also have to remove the mast from the boat (towing position) and store it on the garage wall. When I first moved to Sacatomatoes my garage was just inches too short for the 19' M-15 mast, but the garage was backed up to the kitchen and I cut a hole in the wall, lined it with an inspection port, and when the boat was in the garage the mast stuck thru just an inch or two. I packed a towel around it and full speed ahead. My wife (now exwife, thank God) was very unhappy about it; I told her to hang a cooking-type pot on the wall to cover it, which went over really well! It actualluy worked very well; I'd move the mast forward a coujple of feet before backing the boat in, and painted white stripes on the floor to follow. When I got to a mark on the floor I'd stop, then move the mast back so the door would clear. Neighbors thought I was a real botehead to do something like that. I couldn't angle the mast because of canoes hanging from the ceiling. Jerry, It sounds like you had too many toys. Maybe the simplest solution would have been to buy a bigger toy box? I currently have two kayaks, 6 bikes, 1 M-15, 1 motorcycle and misc. other crap in my garage. Oh, and I still manage to park one of my cars in the garage. Jerry Just went out and measured my garage and it is 21' 4" built in 2006 Looks like I might have a tight squeeze storing my M15 though I was able to put my WWP15 in there. The mast being 19' 6" it will depend on the trailer tongue extension

I packed a towel around it and full speed ahead. My wife (now exwife, thank God) was very unhappy about it; I told her to hang a cooking-type pot on the wall to cover it, which went over really well! It actualluy worked very well; I'd move the mast forward a coujple of feet before backing the boat in, and painted white stripes on the floor to follow. When I got to a mark on the floor I'd stop, then move the mast back so the door would clear. Neighbors thought I was a real botehead to do something like that. I couldn't angle the mast because of canoes hanging from the ceiling. Hi Jerry,
I measured my garage at 18' 8" with a head clearance of 81". I have a 2 car garage with a single door. My M-15 is outfitted with a bow pulpit and adjustable motor mount. With the mount fully retracted and the jack fully lowered I am able to push the boat into the garage, just clearing the garage door opening. To be able to close the garage, I had to cut off 30" of the tongue of the trailer and retro fit it with a removeable extention. Otherwise, the trailer would have to be stored on an angle, taking up both parking spaces. I also have to remove the mast from the boat (towing position) and store it on the garage wall.

The mast may have to go in separately, on a diagonal. You'll need about 7' of vertical clearance at the door. I have kept mine in a couple of old garages, maybe 16 or 17', but my Dilly trailer had a removable tongue. It was a pain to remove and install, but do-able.
