Thanks to all for the great feedback on Lake Havasu. I've been doing a lot of research and I guess the bottom line is that we will have to take a vacation out there in the "HOT" season to see what we think. All the plusses sound great, no snow shoveling, no lawn mowing, no leaf raking, no mosquitoes, cheaper living all around, but 100 degrees for months does sound a little scary. In reply to an earlier post about Havasu: I was giving a tour of Tucson to some Pacific Rim tourists several years ago. One commented on the heat. I told him it was really not bad, and was considered a "dry heat". He thought about that for a minute and said, "I see - kind of like MICROWAVE". -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Lynch <kevnstephanie@verizon.net> To: montgomery_boats <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thu, Apr 14, 2011 7:14 pm Subject: M_Boats: Lake Havasu Thanks to all for the great feedback on Lake Havasu.
