That looks great except that I have a Class II hitch with a smaller receiver. Do you think it would be safe to use with an adapter? (I don't see why not as I would not be towing with it and the sailboat is still the same weight, but maybe I'm not thinking of something.) Bobbie
I had a fixed length one made for me at a local trailer/welding shop. I am sure that you can do the same for stock size of your receiver. I am sure that it will be strong enough as the tongue weight for a balanced trailer should only be about 10% of the total trailer and load - M15, 100lbs.
