Can anyone identify the mast extruder for an M15?
I just found out that I do not have a Dwyer DM4 mast on my M15. Dwyer could not identify who the manufacturer of my current mast is. I need to add an extension to my mast but cannot find the the correct size and shape. Can you look at the picture to see if you can identify it or give me some other suggestions. If it was one of the 15's I built, it would be the old Sparcraft 103 section. Last I heard, it was still being used for booms by MacGregor, and possibly for masts for the Holder 14, last I heard being made by Hobie.. I'd suggest making a good measurement then calling them. At one time, I owned a die for that extrusion, held by Alcoa. When they filed BK, it disappeared. good luck. Jerry/Bob, To your knowledge, are there any other Montys in the Hawaiian Islands other than Little Breeze, which sailed herself there? "Human interest" question .. --Craig
