Way-to-go Steve! The keel-a-monster will probably never visit you again! Let's hope! I'm hoping that I have the same luck you did with the re-installation of the swing keel. I was cautioned that the process of replacing the ballast could cause the slot to narrow. So, I have been nervously checking and re-checking the slot width in comparison to the refinished swing keel as I have been installing the new lead ballast.(The swing keel is out of the boat waiting to go back in) It's gonna be tight but so far I think we're OK. Oh boy, do hope we're Ok! By the end of today I had 600 of the 900 to 1000lbs of ballast that I am actually replacing back in. I sincerely hope that I never have to do this again! I'll be anxious to see the a-frame system you used to install the swing keel. Sean
