For those who are considering a new Pacific trailer purchase either with a new Montgomery (M-15) or as a replacement;

I would suggest you order the trailer with their spare tire mount and upgrade the winch they use to the one with the belt. The one from Montgomery comes with a rope.

I made and installed mud flaps as crud was spraying the side of the boat. Recommend you have that added to your order if they provide such.

As I use a Subaru Forrester to tow/launch my boat, the tongue extension is used quite a bit. I had to redrill a couple of holes as they didn't line up right when I extended the tongue.

You might upgrade to regular size tires or at least the ones that ship with the new M-15s.

Speaking heresy here, but I don't use the mast mount. I tie the mast to the stern and rear pulpits. Also helps when storing in the garage.

Have had no problems with tracking, vibration, lights, etc. Just ordered the spare tire mount from the company and they were very helpful. They have a web site where you can download the complete manual for the M-15 Trailer. The model of the M-15 trailer I have is G14-1200 and my data plate indicates it was assembled at their Chino, CA location.
