Hi Randy, Go back in the M-archives and look for Scott Grometer's account of his M-15 cruising for several weeks at a time in the same area you want to explore. He wrote the definitive work in this regard. He covers equipment; supplies; storage methods for long distance cruising; fuel; problems encountered; and how he did it. A most excellent dissertation of long distance cruising on an M15. I went looking through my various piles of debris in my office looking for that account - I know I printed it out and carefully saved it for future reference - but try as I might, I couldn't locate it to give you it's date. Maybe Doug can give you an hand at find it. Connie

Found Scott's account. I'm going to make a page for the MSOG of the posts, but in the meantime, you can find Scott's write-up by going to archive search page http://msog.org/cfmods/list_archive_search.cfm and use "storage" for the first search term, "gas" for the second search term and "Scott" for the third term or any order of the three, and enter "1999" for the year. You should get five messages. There is one follow-up message using the year "2000".
