I, too, had the problem of water coming back in through the scuppers. I found an easy solution. I bought a couple of corks at the local hardware store for about 79 cents that fit the two holes. I stick them in when I leave the mooring. If I ever take any serious water into the cockpit I can kick them out with a flick of my toe -- but a Montgomery is so dry that has never been an issue. I do the exact same thing, David, especially if I'm going to have more than one passenger. --Craig ----- Original Message ----- From: <david_hill@idg.com> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, January 19, 2004 9:41 AM Subject: M17 Cockpit water I, too, had the problem of water coming back in through the scuppers.
