Hi gang, The storm anchor held. We survived unscathed in Glastonbury; no downed trees; no power outage; just a lot more downed leaves and twigs lying around. The Long Island Sound shoreline areas were hit hard. high tide coinciding with storm surge raised flood waters to new levels. Our barometer started going up again about 2030 last night, and at 0800 today it is up to 997 mb. Thanks for the worries for our well-being. Now life goes back to normal, as Sandy dies slowly far inland. Connie & Katrina
