Hopefully someone will be able to accommodate you so you can look over a boat again. Just wanted to mention that we feel the cockpit is one of the best out there, for days sailing, cruising, or ahem, napping. The seats allow me to stretch out fully, and I am 6'3". The seat back/coamings are very high and comfortable. Much better than many friends larger boats, from 20 to 40'. We are always glad to get back to Makin' Time after visiting on other boats. Good luck with your search. Bill Wickett

Monterey is out of range for this quick trip, another 1.5-2.5 hours south, I won't have time to get down there. Will have to watch for it ahead of time next year! cheers, John S. I emailed Bob Eeg and he said the brand/model that works is the Thetford 135. They are a discontinued model but you can find them if you search for them, I found a new old stock one on ebay. It fits the M15 space perfectly, my boat is 2011 year. Good luck. Oscar On Jul 22, 2015 9:41 PM, "Paul McAleavy" <rpmscreenprint@sbcglobal.net> wrote:

However, as you mentioned the Thetford 135 is no longer being manufactured. But, not to worry, If you buy the replacement model, which is slightly larger, you can remold the base to fit. All you need to do is fill the waste tank (base) with some boiling water. Apply downward pressure (sit on it) with the unit in place. Drink two beers (your choice) while the water cools. Empty the waste tank and you're all set. This is the process I used and it works beautifully.
