Speaking of Lyle Hess......
We loaded a great article that Karen from Good Old Boat Magazine published in the Nov/Dec 2002 issue. Its a good read and really proves that cruising in small, seaworthy boats is possible. (check out the links at the end of the article, especially Greg and Jills homepage. Plenty of tips and good ideas for making a small boat your home. These people are going world cruising next year in their Hess designed Nor'Sea 27) Here's the article: http://www.norseayachts.com/goodoldboat/NorSeaText.html Fair winds Bob Eeg (949) 489-8227
Thanks, Bob. I was impressed with a recent "Sailing" magazine article about an adventurer who had sailed from L.A. to the Tuamatos in a Pearson Commander, an Alden design that is more cockpit than cabin, most-likely intended for sheltered waters. --Craig p.s. I talked to G.O.B.'s Jerry Powlas at Strictly Sail Chicago and told him I'd like to see more small boats in the magazine . . . Mentioned the M17 . . . We talked about the up-coming M23 article. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob" <Bobeeg@earthlink.net> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, March 15, 2003 1:16 PM Subject: Speaking of Lyle Hess......
