Made a wooden oar lock that vise grips to the back. Only put it on when needed. I have at an oar that barely fits in the cabin but is out of the way when not in use. Decided to do this after the mishap in the SJs when the wind died, the motor died and the current was ripping. Needed a way to keep off the rocks.
