You pump its tiller up and down to make it go. It's over thirty years old, and I've never used it, but it fascinated me as a child. It's very light; even an 8 year old can pick it up. If I get a chance, I'll try it on our P-15, but beware: I'm building Michalak's 14 ft Piragua canoe, which is taking all my boating time.
