Hi Larry, The tender of choice for a lot of M-boaters appears to be an inflatable kayak or canoe. I have a Stearns model that I can tow or deflate and stuff on the aft cockpit floor. I also own a 6'8" pram, but have never towed it behind my M17. I have sailed a NS27 once, she has a powerful, robust feel to her. She is a heavyweight to tow and launch, and certain ready for blue water. Fit the boat to the body of water you wish to navigate.
