M_Boats: Ketchikan sailing road trip

My wife and I are thinking about trailoring our M17 from Seattle to Ketchikan some time this spring. I know it is a long drive, but we haven't been on a decent road trip in a long time. Anyway, I would like to get any advice or opinions you guys may have. We were thinking of going some time in May.
