Doug. Here is a link that shows the ladder mounted on the M15 - http://www.sagemarine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=744 :: Dave Scobie :: M17 #375 SWEET PEA - m17-375.com On Wed, Aug 1, 2018, 6:44 PM doug <doug9326@gmail.com> wrote:
Yes, that is precisely what I mean. Having sailed on many offshore sailing adventures, I know how things break. I always use backing plates on deck hardware or the like. And nyloc nuts…gotta love em. So, thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out right now. And I can’t imagine using a ladder with two attachment points. Guaranteed failure in my opinion. Lots of pull on that ladder climbing out of the water and onto the boat.

I'm assuming you mean machine screws (aka bolts) with backing plates, fender washers and nyloc nuts?
I like the Garelick/EEz-In 18017:01 Compact Transom Ladder as it uses four attachment points and is unlikely to pull out of the transom (seen it happen!).

What is the best boarding ladder to use on a M-15. I would like one that attaches to the boat via screws. Thanks
