I'm embarrassed to admit, Harvey, that I don't know whether my Nissan 4-horse 4-stroke vibrates excessively: I just bought it three weeks ago and I live in Michigan, so no opportunities for hands-on experience yet. I was just asking based on hearsay. I was told a 1-cylinder 4-stroke would vibrate more than a -stroke. --Craig ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harvey Wilson" <HarveyWilson@compuserve.com> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 25, 2003 11:07 AM Subject: Vibration Hi Craig..
No one suggested ways to try to dampen outboard vibration: Does that mean no one suffers enough vibration to bother?<<
How bad is the vibration ?? My Seagulls are single cylinder, and don't vibrate more then other 1 lungers. Do you know if there are other motors of your brand that vibrate less?? Or are you comparing it to a 2 cylinder ?? I've only had 2 stroke engines, so can't say what the differences would be. Harvey/ Ga M-17 Stargazer #294
