Bill, I have bottom painted my M-17 "Little Breeze" a couple of time while she was on the trailer. In my trailer situation I have about 8 rollers that are "in the way" and i just work around them, leaving 8 spots un- painted along with the bottom of the keel in a few places. This seems to work ok but that said, every other year I have the yard lift the boat long enuf for me to touch up the missed spots as well as the centerboard. Hello all,
Can anyone offer any trick or tips on SAFELY bottom painting an M17 while on the trailer? I am thinking of bracing one side at a time and lowering the bunk board brackets. May not be able to get to the bottom of the keel or the CB slot.
Thanks,
