Hi Tod, Thanks for that link. What a horrifying event. The article wasn't very specific as to the details of the collision. Neither boat sank so it sounds like a glancing blow. The fishing boat captain knew he was in trouble seeing the cruiser at 300 yards. Besides trying to hail the cruiser what else did he do? I wonder if he ever tried to move the fishing boat. Even if at anchor, it seems he could have powered forward to avoid the collision. Maybe he could have put out more rode or let it go. What would you do? Rick Langer M15 #337
