I just spent the last 2 days cleaning my laptop and my desktop. Seems I got
hit with the "WIN32/CIH" virus, and transfered it from the portable to the
desk top without knowing. Took me a while to figure out it was a virus,
although my wife said , 3 times, "Sure sounds like a virus to me!"
Should have listened.

 

ANYWAY .... moral of the story is to have a good resident virus checker. The
one I'm now using (yeah, I did'nt use one until now ... duh :( is freely
available at www.grisoft.com

 

Seems to work really well.

 

Hope this will help someone else.
