mission bay san diego? if so, there is no bridge clearance issues and most of the ramps are pretty nice....and free. i prefer the south shores ramp, it's a little far away from the sailing section of the bay, but the ramp is bigger and better IMHO. i don't sail in mission bay much, but sail bay is a nice reach from one end to the other. there are some places where you can anchor and eat too. another option might be south san diego bay. it is usually lightly populated, has really good wind and it has a really nice ramp. i can give you more info if your interested in either one. We may have the opportunity to bring our Montgomery 15 to Mission Bay in the next month or so for a day of sailing. We hope to poke around the bay and get out onto the ocean while we're there. Any ideas about good and bad boat ramps, bridge clearances, and anything else that might be handy to know would be appreciated!
