Tom. I'll take/find some pictures when I get back to the shop of a system we use for a 2/3 drop in board. It uses a small amount of teak with Marine teak plywood. A lot less cost than solid teak. Give me a couple of days, as I'm on the road doing Sage stuff. Will be back in Golden, CO, new years. :: Dave Scobie On Dec 29, 2015 7:17 PM, "Thomas Buzzi" <thomaspbuzzi@gmail.com> wrote:
I have to replace my companionway hatch boards. The track will accept 3/4 inch thick stock. Any suggestions for type of wood to use? Will something other than expensive teak work?Should the ends be splined to prevent warping from the sun?
