I'm just putting out there a problem my #290 M15 has although I don't have all the details right now. I have a trailer with rollers on it and right under the front roller on the starboard side the hull is bending around the roller. I would say the deflection is about 1/2 to 3/4 at the center and covers about a 8" diameter. Amazingly a lapstrake is in this indentation. Because of this indent, there is very little pressure on the hull at the point of contact. There is not any noticeable cracks other then the finest tiny lines in the gelcoat. I haven't inspected this from inside the cabin and am not sure if there's access. I assume that the boat was sitting on the trailer for a long period, maybe in hot weather and sorta "sagged" over this roller. I'm thinking that if the boat was taken off this point of contact, either in the water or if I modify the trailer the indentation would probably come back out at least partially but I think that this will always be a soft spot. In fact it's pretty easy to bend the hull all around this area with my fingers with only a couple pounds of pressure...even on the lapstrake which is normally a very stiff spot. Solutions? I will probably start by modifying the trailer and putting in a 12" bunk instead of the wheel to spread the load. I'd like to then strengthen the location once I get the hull back to normal shape. Hopefully I could do something from the inside...Any info would be great. I'll keep everyone posted as how it goes...I
