Could have been, but it really looked like it had "M23" on the sail, and it had two portholes. Looked like this but red stripe (but I don't think it was cutter rigged) - http://www.sailingtexas.com/smontgomery23a.html -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Bob From California Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 4:46 PM To: Monty Listserver Subject: Re: M_Boats: M23 on Puget Sound? Rick and I were out Sunday on the Puget Sound, and we saw a M23 with what looked like (through binoculars, from a distance, and under massive bouncing) a red stripe, but I don't see any 23s on the database listed as having a red stripe (and I don't remember enough details about the colors of the boats from the San Juans trip to know if what I was seeing was something other than a red stripe).
We tried to catch up, but the 23 was going north headed across the ferry track that we had just crossed, so after a bunch of furious waving, we turned back south.
Just curious whom we missed.
