Jim, Maybe you have posted this and I missed it, but is Pelican dry sailed or kept in a berth? If she is berthed is it seasonal or year round? How much time elapsed between when the centerboard got stuck and this repair? Thanks, steve Steve R. M-15 #119 Lexington, KY ************************************************** Thanks Jerry Maybe I am missing some of the ballast. Is the trim ballast inside the hull or in the keel? It seem like I have removed all of the ballast in the keel. I haven't removed any from inside the cabin if ther is any there. If you click on this link you can see what I am doing http://picasaweb.google.com/jascopacific/M15KeelRepair I guess if I knew what the total weight of the boat is suspost to be I could just weigh the carcus (with steel removed) and add enough lead to bring it up to the proper weight. Since I have the option now of changing the ballast weight should I make the ballast more/less/or same as the origional? I appreciate you advice Captain Jim Sailing vessel Pelican (M-15 #205)
