I assume you are doing this to keep your feet dry. What I do is shove a microfiber rag in the drain hole to keep peoples feet dry, if it's calm conditions and zero chance of boarding waves. If it's rough, I'm getting wet anyways and don't worry about it and/or wear rubber boots.
