I have had my M-17 cover made by Bob Rowland at Sailors Tailor for several weeks and want to pass on my impressions, which are all good. The quality is first-rate and the fit is perfect. It has a continuous shock cord around just below the rubrail, with snap disconnects at each break where the cover fits around deck obstructions like shrouds, stanchions, etc. An internal zipper runs from the shrouds to the rubrail on both sides, with an extra zipper on the side that fits around the mast. Snaps and toggles fasten the cover around each obstruction. A three-point lifting bridle is connected to the main halyard to keep water from pooling in the cover. Comes off in about 7 minutes, goes on in 10 - 12 (after some practice - first time on was almost a half hour!). You have to figure out the right order to do things, then its pretty easy. It's now been on through lots of rain and wind with no problems. Highly recommended to M-17 owners. Rick M-17 #633 Lynne L ************** The Average US Credit Score is 692.
