couple of pictures attached that will assist with Connie's details. 'b15chuck4' shows the swivel block at the companionway. Rope diameter? About the size of the hole - probably about 3/8" diameter. Length? 5 1/2' to 6' long.
Put a figure 8 knot on the end of the line; feed it through the hole from the bottom; remember to put the traveler block in place on the line; then the far end goes down through the opposite transom hole and you put another figure 8 knot on the end.
Voila, your traveler is in place.
The main sheet then goes from the becket on the block at the aft end of the boom down to the block on the traveler; through the block, and then back up and through the aft end of the main sheet block leading forward.
At the forward block on the bottom of the boom,pass the main sheet through the block and then down to the swivel block in front of the companionway.
That's it. Go sailing!

I'm a new owner of a M-15 #640. I'm setting it up for the first time and
have figured most of it out But I need help with rigging the traveler. Would some one on the list give me some guidance on the line to use, its length and where it attaches. The boat has cleats on each stern corner are they for the traveler? Thank you, Willy Gorrissen
