Al, If you measure your axel (total length and distance between the spring mounts) and springs, almost any trailer supply store should be able to sell you a replacement axel. I got a new axel for my last boat from Tractor Supply, a local farm equipment place. Ron (Whitebeard) M17 #14, Griselda

I'm in the process of replacing the axle on my 1981 M17 Trail Rite Trailer. Two questions: (1) Has anyone replaced their axle & springs? If so where did you get the parts? (2) If you have an early '80's trailer can you provide the trailer id info - minus the vehicle number, that's listed on the sticker. My info is long gone.
