Right, Tod, she was not planing. The bow is deep and behind the bow wave. In planing, the bow rises onto the bow wave which moves the wave aft of the bow. Actually, I think I took all those pics of Storm Petrel. The description on the main page suggests (erroneously) that she is planing, but I assure you she isn't.

I was imagining away on the photo site, and was looking at "Storm Petrol." One photo shows the boat seemingly planing, as there appears to be a bow wave, but no stern wave. Have many of you experienced this in an M15?
