Ssounds like a bent axle to me- climb under with a beer and a straightedge and I'll bet you can find it. jerry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karen and Smiley" <magoo252@comcast.net> To: "Montgomery Sailboat Forum" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, April 18, 2011 6:17 PM Subject: M_Boats: trailer tire worn on the inside
OK, done some research and don't know if it's a camber thing or a bent axel. The right trailer tire is worn on the inside the left looks brand new. Can you camber the tires in or out on a Pacific Trailer? What I read on the net is a bent axel. I need to address this before taking it to inspection. I plan to take the boat on trailer to a shop and have this looked into as it's no fun wearing out tires. Opinions, I will probably have an answer tomorrow anyway. Thanks Smiley
