Mark, The selection of the boat name will be meaningful to myself, but I am looking to elicit reactions to the various choices-as in your comment that Knot Rod "doesn't do anything for me." That was a response, (I don't like the choice much myself), the boat is being named by process of democratic input from various sources, family and friends mainly.
