Jon, I have a Monty 17 and it would be great to be able to roll it upside down. When doing so be sure to secure your drop keel to avoid surprises! A fork lift would work, I think but you will need a couple of loop straps of strong nylon with shackles with rollers on the pins. That will allow you to loop both straps over the boat, secure them to each other with rope and after picking up the whole boat, roll it over. The straps will roll on the pins on the shackle bolts so it should go easily with that setup. My friend rolled a power boat like that and it was easy once you have the above mentioned setup. Has anyone rolled over a Monty17? I have access to a big fork lift that would easily handle it.
I have a job to do that would be easier if the boat was upside down on a set of stands or sawhorses.
