‘Jo and I have made this trip twice with Larry and his crew. It has led to wonderful and lasting friendships that we cherish. It is our honor to be joining them again this summer. I cannot even begin to describe to you how wonderful the San Juan Islands and the Canadian Gulf Islands are if you have not been there, but let this be an indicator..... It is 1503 miles each way from our driveway to the slings at Anacortes. I hate driving. I don’t even bat an eye about making this trip. It is three long days on the road with 12,000lbs of camper, boat, and trailer behind each way in order to spend 2 solid weeks with a wonderful group, in a beautiful place, and enjoy some fantastic Sailing. By the time the first two or three days are behind you, you lose complete touch with all the concerns of the “Real World” that you have. Believe me, this is true. If you want to get and idea of the trip...I have some dreadfully long videos on my youtube channel of the last one. Just go to Youtube.com and search “nebwest2” There are a bunch of videos of the trip on there as well as one overview of the San Juan portion only with music that I should be put in jail for......seemed like a good idea at the time ! hahaha Here’s the link to that one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1gZKbOqOok Larry, thanks for putting this together AGAIN (How many have there been now..5?) You have been responsible for creating some fantastic friendships, ours included. S, MJ, and B M23 “Daunltess” M17FD “Sneakers”
