Martin and Doug.  Excellent article.  I'll be doing some of the same work to my M-17, #208 "Proteus" some time in the spring.  This will be a valuable resource!  I'm a new member to the gruop and a new sailor, this being my first sailboat.  I like the level of activity I see in the group.  All have been very friendly.
