Thanks Mark! We safely completed the 1500 mile journey yesterday. Certainly some added stress with a giant boat behind you....a 200-300 mile journey is reasonable for a boat like the M23, but I certainly don't want to travel long distances again. I am thankful I have a lot of great cruising destinations in that range living in central Washington. Now the real learning begins....I have a feeling the first couple years of ownership will be slow, but anything good takes time. We did order a full length cover for the boat from Ship Shape Canvas in Duluth. I'll let you know how that works out and cost. I never met Dick Lane, but he certainly did some good work on the boat. Bones provided a whole lot of records with the boat, maybe I'll find a picture in there. Gerry

You'll love that 23 Gerry. I'm the steward of the closest M-sibling to Dhana, M23 #74 Faith. We spend some time every summer in Washington waters. Perhaps we'll cross tacks some day. Have a safe trip home with Dhana (she used to sail the Salish Sea many years ago when she was Dick Lane's boat).

Hi All,
I hope I can maintain Dhana as well as Bones did. I have a lot of great support via the email list and appreciate that I can reach out to everyone with questions.
I'll post some pictures soon about our journey across the country....
Gerry
