Todd, Good point. I don't know. Like I said, this was something I had read about. I know that dorads aren't worth the expense and effort, as I habe been on many boats with them and all the owners agreed that they, at best, gave about as much air movement as a kitten's breath. Beckson is the name of the manufacturer of deck plates. They make 4", 6", and 8" screw in plates. I don't know what putting in one of these deck plates would do to the structural integrity of the walls in the cockpit, but
the idea sounds pretty intriquing.
