And I didn't mean to imply that you'd left anyone out, either, Rusty. My follow-up was meant to add-to, not correct your message. I hope my post didn't detract from your thanks to Connie, because he's a fantastic resource and deserves the credit. I am equally as grateful to the other names I listed, and, please forgive, those I might have missed, so I wanted to express that. Even when the list is not addressing a specific need of mine, it makes for enjoyable reading, and I look forward to new posts when I open my email. Not only is it great to profit from the authorities' Monty experience, but also from their sailing experience with all different models. I've wandered about the net looking at other Owners' Groups and sites, and I think the Monty Group is far and away the best, as evidenced by those who participate who no longer sail Montys, or who have never owned Montys, and sail other designs like the Potters. What an incredible testimony to our designs which, by comparison, have been produced in relatively small numbers. I feel very fortunate that I found the Montgomery 17', basically by happenstance. Kinda like winning the lottery, although now I need to actually do so to pay off the debt I've compiled restoring my boat. :-) Monty boating is a great pastime. Wish it were my vocation! :-) Fair winds, Craig ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rusty Knorr" <mazemusic@yahoo.com> To: "For and about Montgomery Sailboats" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2003 3:19 AM Subject: ANOTHER huge thanks! I certainly didn't mean to leave anyone out! I am new to the list so thank you for adding those names that I haven't had the chance to interact with. I have so much to learn and I am so thankful for such a fantastic resource. I hope someday that I can be a resource myself! Thanks again, Rusty --- Honshells <chonshell@ia4u.net> wrote: I'm sure I'll inadvertently leave a name out, but it's Connie, Tod, John, Larry, Doug, Giles, Howard and others that make this list an invaluable resource . . . These people are exceptionally talented and resourceful and I'm grateful that they stick with the list, put up with drivel like mine, and continue to contribute, even when they have to repeat stuff they've covered several times previously in the M-List archives. So, I second Rusty's sentiment. Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You give me something to look forward to every time I open my email! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rusty Knorr" <mazemusic@yahoo.com> To: "For and about Montgomery Sailboats" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, October 25, 2003 4:08 AM Subject: A huge thanks!
