Jon: Re-read the post and I missed answering one of your questions - The adjusting shrouds can be nice for adjusting mast bend. BUT the current adjustment, concave forward, is not correct. Get feedback from JerryM, Gary Oberbeck and/or Stan Sussman (they have more experience than I on using stays on a track). :: Dave Scobie :: M6'8" #650 :: Baba 30 #233 DEJA VU :: SV SWALLOW - sv-swallow.com :: former owner M17 #375 SWEET PEA - m17-375.com :: former owner M15 #288 SCRED - m15namedscred.wordpress.com <<-- new site! Found one for sale. Are they less desirable than the c board modem model? This one has no trailer and has been in the water a long time. It needs painting, but the rig seems to be all there. It has newer sails and standing rigging. It has no sink.
Would anyone venture a guess on a valuation?
It would be a good boat for SF Bay, or costal passages, baja.
I also noticed right away that the mast was curved, concave forward. It had 2 lower shrouds each side mounted to a track. It's different than my boat. The mast did seem raked properly.
