Bud: I replaced the fixed fiberglass motor mount on my M17 with a Garhauer stainless mount which I ordered directly from them. It is expensive, about $160 but very nice. It was a pain to install because of the lack of clearance. It works very well with my Yammy 4. I was going to throw out the old mount but my brother came up with the brilliant idea to bolt it on to a cheap hand truck and voila! I now have a mobile outboard mount. Hi Connie, My one complaint with my M15 was the motor mount. I bought it new and assumed from the literature that Jerry mailed me that the motor mount was like the one in the picture in the literature. It wasn't. Mine is fiberglass. It vibrates at any speed. Very annoying. I have wanted to change it but wasn't sure just what to change it with so it would look alright with the new one.
