Bill, That is Lake Isabella at the south end of the Sierra Nevada range here in Calif. It blows like this most days, but it will be a short season because the Corps of Engineers is dumping water out as fast as they can. They are worried about dam failure, seems they built over an unknown fault.

At this point we had stowed the headsail and reefed the main. The wind was still building. Shortly after this video, steering and sheeting became full time jobs. No more vid's.
After about 3 hours of this kind of pounding, we called it a day. After this, I have a lot more faith in the repairs to the bottom J
