Hi Connie and Katrina, And Seasons Greetings to all. I'm down in Utah and we have plenty of winter, ( 6 plus inches of snow still on the ground from the last snow and snowing again tonight, and about 10 above 0 "cold" out there. ) I talked to Deena and she says that we are getting some snow at home in Walla Walla last night. Pelican is resting on the trailer in the shop, up on blocks and being carefully watched by Buzz, Deena's cat, who has adopted the same location to sleep on the boat. From there he can peek over the coaming and see what is going on in the shop, and hide if he is taken with a case of ignore, a chronic state of catatonics. Occasionally he will come down and sleep under the warming light, but that must be catagoricly condescending. I think he sleeps under the light only when he knows we aren't looking. There must be something about that position, maybe catnapping and dreaming of Charlie tuna, or like me wishing and hoping for the new sailing season to start again. Somehow I doubt that Buzz is thinking of sanding and oiling teak or mounting cabin hangers, or designing a tongue extension for the trailer while he is out there, but that is OK, just as long as he keeps the mouse out of the bilge, his rent is paid. Wish you, and the Squirrels, and all the Montgomery Boat people a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, a safe and healthy New Year, and Happy Sails in 2002, too ( or would that be tutu, a/w:) ) Harvey and Deena M-15 # 348 PELICAN Walla Walla, WA
