I'd like to know if anyone actually uses the porta potty. I've thought about building a galley unit where the potty goes. In my mind that's a more practical use of precious space on an M15. If I think I'm going to need a head, I carry this: http://boc123.com/store/BOC_store.cfm?itemid=07968 I use this when I wilderness river camp, and although it's comes with the stuff needed to use a regular RV dump (hose and all that), I utilize biodegradable plastic bags in it. t Tom Smith & Jane Van Winkle Fairfield, WA M15-345 Chukar M17-064 Unnamed -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+tom.smith=itron.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+tom.smith=itron.com@mailman.xmission.co m] On Behalf Of Steve R. However I think you would have to be a contortionist to use the Porta-Potty. At some point in time I decided to leave the cushion and plywood cover for my Potty at home. They always seemed to be where I did not want them at the time. Lately I have been thinking about trying to find a cushion that would fit where the Potty does. If it is raining, I could move the Potty to the cockpit and plop the cushion down in its place. There would not be much leg room, but I would have a little head room with the hatch closed. Maybe I could use an angled back cushion. Has anyone done this? I never noticed that the nav lights were in the hull. steve Steve R.
