I could not agree less. I was in the Marine Industry (second generation) for approximately 30 years. I sold and sailed Montgomery Sailboats, as did my Father. I believe the name of this list is "Montgomery Boats", a list for all things about Montgomery Boats. If something is right- and much about the boats, designers, and builders is/has been right then lets hear about it. Lets make sure it stays 'right'. If something is not as smooth as possible then lets try, as a group with common interests, to work on a solution. I am glad Mr. Eeg is building the boat, makes my boat "a currently produced" model worth more than an "out of production" model. If the current process is not right, I am sure Mr. Eeg wants it rectified. I don't think 'sticking ones head in the sand' collectively is good for the Owners of Montgomery sailboats, I believe NO one on this list wants the marque to suffer a 'black eye', we are all proud of the product. Disclosure, airing ones views, sharing info., contacting others of similar interest are all products of the internet - like it or not. I, for one, need no more censorship. What I crave is information. Thanks for the soapbox. Back to lurking. Gary Oberbeck M-17 #316a
